The custom project module is by far the simplest module of GridPIQ, yet it allows sweeping flexibility in using the underlying quantification engine to map load profile changes to project impacts. The project module directly calculates these various impacts when the pre-project generation profile, i.e. the system generation before the implementation of the project, and the post-project load profile i.e. the system load after the implementation of the project are available.
Methodology
The custom project module requires post-project load data (in MW) along with data specifying the project context. The figure below shows the process flow diagram of how the custom project module uses these above-mentioned inputs to compute the project impacts.
